Discover the
Power of Forgiveness

Recovering My Forever & Always is Montene and Mark Bryant’s raw and powerful testimony of love, marriage, heartbreak, redemption, and faith tested like never before.

When Montene discovered her husband Mark’s infidelity and struggles with pornography, her world crumbled. The betrayal cut deep, shaking the very foundation of their marriage and her sense of worth in Jesus and as a woman. She faced an agonizing choice: how to fight for the love she once believed was unbreakable.

Through pain, prayer, and God’s relentless grace, Montene embarked on a journey of healing—not just for her marriage, but for her own heart. With honesty and vulnerability, she shares the anger, doubt, and grief she endured and the moments of divine intervention that led her toward forgiveness, restoration, and a renewed understanding of her faith in Jesus.

This is more than a story of overcoming betrayal; it is a testament to the healing power of God’s love and the possibility of restoration, even in the darkest moments. Recovering My Forever & Always will help anyone struggling with broken trust or questioning God’s place in their lives, offering hope that even the deepest wounds can be made whole.

What People Are Saying

Reading Recovering My Forever & Always and having gone through a divorce but now happily married for 23 years, I realize how helpful this book would’ve been back then. Montene and Mark's story in this book gave me hope. It showed me that infidelity does not have to end in divorce.

When you know Jesus, there is hope for whatever challenge a married couple faces. I would suggest only reading a chapter or two daily to give yourself time to digest its content.

I have no doubt Recovering My Forever & Always will save marriages, lead people to Jesus, and teach the importance of staying in God‘s Word. A husband and wife, together with Jesus, is a three-cord strand that cannot be broken. Montene and Mark's story is a great inspiration and a source of hope and healing.

Oftentimes, when reading the scriptures, we find marriage and covenant intertwined in God's display of love for us. While we can seek to do things on our own, we can also turn to God and find the beauty of marriage and what it means to covenant with Him first.

Montene and Mark’s journey in Recovering My Forever & Always reminds us of the sacred gift of marriage and the blessing it holds for those who refuse to throw in the towel. Marriage is the ultimate gift from God to teach us who we are and how to live a fulfilled and yet selfless life in Christ. I'm convinced no one can teach us this kingdom truth, but our God-given spouse will teach us how to both love and forgive.

It’s stories like these that give us hope. Hope that we don't have to be perfect and that God is the keeper of our family's foundation. Today, there is hope for the broken to find and recover this ancient path as we find our Forever Love.

May you see the Father's intent for holy matrimony and lay hold even in the hard times. There is a blessing to those who look to the Giver of the Covenant of Marriage.

"This is what the Lord says 'Stand at the crossroads and look;  ask for the ancient paths ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.'"—Jeremiah 6.16a

As both a therapist and a pastor, I have walked alongside countless individuals and couples who faced the ravages of broken trust, addiction, and emotional devastation. What makes Recovering My Forever & Always unique is not just the depth of the struggles described in the pages but the hope that emerges through God's intervention and the steadfast determination of two people committed to healing and restoration.

At its core, Recovering My Forever & Always is a testimony of Christ's healing power to restore what seemed irreparably broken.

Montene and Mark's story echoes the biblical truth that repentance, forgiveness, and the grace of Christ can redeem broken relationships. Through candid insights and reflections, you will find not only the challenges that addiction and betrayal bring but also the Divine power that restores relationships, renews hearts, and rebuilds trust.
